Upgrading to ASE 15.0.2

Hi,
I am planning to upgrade from ASE 12 to ASE 15. Is there anyway I can check the SQL performance and to find out if I can prevent a downgrade in performance.

Hi Tina,
The Migration Analyzer module enables you to find out which SQL statements are going to be affected when migrating to ASE 15. It compares the query plans for the SQL statements in ASE 12 to the query plans in ASE 15 and shows you which query plans have an Estimated IO value that will increase or decrease when it is migrated to ASE 15. You can then use the SQL Optimizer to optimize on ASE 15 the SQL statements whose Estimated IO cost is going to increase after the migration.
